This fits in the new kitchen. Looks very chic and does not protrude like my old one. It is off course smaller and I'm still getting used to the double doors and freezer draw. Ice cubes make quickly and dispense fast so don't hold your glass there for long!

I love the look of this refrigerator but it is VERY noisy. Beware! I finally did a dB meter test and this one measured in at 75 dB. From what I read, refrigerators should be 30-45 dB, with 40 being considered a quiet refrigerator. We've had the compression swapped out, but no luck.

Really beautiful unit possible the best refrigerator I've owned. Quiet , really intuitive features like the quick cooling setting for when you come in from doing the groceries. It will get the products up to safe temps fast. Ease of access to both the ice box and water filter is a fav.

Love that this fridge is counter depth so it doesn't hang out in the way. Our last fridge was 26 cu ft and just too much, items hid behind stuff, spoiled quickly since not used, etc. Bright light, and tons of shelf space.
The fridge door water is quick and so is ice. Just wish the filter didn't cost 50 bucks :/

We bought this a couple weeks ago after researching for days. It holds more than I thought it would. We went from a 25 cu ft fridge to this 20 cu ft, and because of the smart engineering, we were able to fit most of our food from the old fridge. The main section has adjustable shelves and adjustable door compartments that hold all of our food and it's all visible at a glance. The big pull out drawer holds yogurts stacked 3 high, and the large 6 packs of romaine that I buy in bulk. We decided not to increase our budget to buy the larger, 24 cu ft Whirlpool counter depth fridge, which has a larger freezer with a spot for frozen pizzas, and makes crushed ice, which would have been nice. The model we bought dispenses ice cubes and filtered water. The ice dispenser gets jammed occasionally, but it is simple to remove the ice tray and remove the cubes that are causing the problem. We LOVE the counter depth in our relatively small kitchen and the sleek, modern design. Also, in our white kitchen, the side panels of the Whirlpools are a lighter grey than some other brands, so that worked well for us, too. My only criticism is that the counter depth models are priced higher than the regular deeper depth models that have higher cu ft.

Updating our kitchen, we purchased a matching set of whirlpool appliances: Fridge, Cooktop, Dishwasher and Wall Oven. The fridge has been a never ending source of frustration. It started with uneven doors that could not be adjusted. From there, one of the crisper drawers cracked and the guide broke away from its frame. All this time, the left French door would not stay open. Three service calls with multiple tries at levelling the fridge plus a new door, have not remedied the issue. Part of the problem is that the fridge can not be levelled. This has been attempted so many times, that the right side leveller wore out and had to be replaced. Any attempt to level this fridge results in only three legs staying in contact with the floor causing the fridge to rock back and forth on an angle. So now, the fridge does not align with the very expensive cabinetry - and I still have a door that will not stay open. To add to this, the right door slams open all the way to the door-stop.
This is all too bad because the fridge looks good and of course, matches all the other appliances.
To add to this, multiple calls to the service centre has done nothing but frustrate me the last three days in a row. This is what has caused me to track down a means to review my experience. That said, the same can probably be said for most of the other manufacturers...

Ice maker jammed within first month and the ice comes out quickly. Need wide mouth glass to catch all the ice or it ends up on the floor. Counter depth is very nice as it saves room in small kitchen. Beautiful appliance but a bit noisy for the price. Overall happy with it so far

Haven't had refrigerator a good too weeks and the ice maker and water dispenser stopped working. Also, refrigerator cycles on and off and display goes off. In the meantime refrigerator is cooling down with our food inside. When we called Whirlpool they said they can have someone come out in FOUR days!

Very nice fridge and seems to living up to our expectations so far. My only complaints are that the display constantly shows the "set" temps instead of the current temps. How would you know if there is a problem? Actual temp could be 10 degrees warmer and you'd never know it! Would also be nice if the display brightness auto-dimmed at night. Also, the display indicators aren't illuminated so you can't see if it will dispense water or ice in the middle of night without turning a light on! Also disappointed it doesn't offer crushed ice! I assumed they all did....live and learn, I guess. Finally, no simple way to disable the wheels so it doesn't roll forward when pulling on freezer drawer....and it does! You have to wind down the leveling feet at the front to lift the fridge off of its wheels. I'm sure there is a simpler way! Other than that, its performing perfectly and we're happy.

The upper portion of the fridge provides well laid out storage with flexible shelf placement. Items we use most are usually accessable by opening just one of the two upper doors. Lower freezer allows for convient access to small items.

Bought this fridge 2-3 months ago, had a lot of issue with seller and Whirpool, where whirlpool didn't have any product in stock.
Fridge space is a bit limited, The half drawers cannot be opened with one door open and the ice, you will ALWAYS have to pick up ice cubes from the floor, the ice maker shoots ice left, right, but NOT center. They should add a part to simply redirect the ice towards a focus point outside of the fridge.
door beeping feature is nice when door is not fully closed.

I am happy with this refrigerator, except there is no butter compartment in the door. It is identical to the Maytag we had which had a butter compartment in the door, but this refrigerator does not. It looks like there are places at the top of the right door where a butter compartment would be, but no compartment. Is this part of a new design? I feel as though a part is missing.

French doors are not in alignment with each other. Right door is about 1/4 - 1/2 inch higher than the left door. Condensation on inside of doors. Most of the time we can not close left door (when looking at the refrigerator) without first straightening the flap between the two doors. Over weekend when opening the left door, the tray inside fell to the floor and spilled orange juice all over the floor. It made quite a mess and I hope it did not damage our new wood floors. This tray should not have fallen. Ice maker does not make sufficient ice. Service man was here last week and has ordered new door hinges. As you can se, we are very unhappy with the refrigerator.

We have a new home with all new appliances. The first refrigerator showed up with dents in the doors. They tried to get replacement doors but they had dance also. They finally ordered a second new refrigerator and it finally does not have any dents. We are not completely satisfied with the functionality of the refrigerator. Had it for 3 months now with only one continue problem. About once a week the ice maker will stop working due to ice getting jam under the full control wire and the side of the plastic. The wire remains up giving the impression the ice bucket is full with no ice except the one or two pieces that are caught under the full wire. I will soon be calling in a work order on it.

This is basically the same as our last refrigerator, only this one is counter depth and has the full width bottom tray. Had some issues with previous refrigerator but we liked the features these models offered. Decided to replace with this model and hope it lasts longer as we had problems just after warranty ran out.

We bought this 35" wide unit to replace an older 35" unit that died. This time we bought a 20 cu ft counter depth unit rather than a deeper 25 cu ft unit. It works much better with our kitchen drawers and counter, but we miss the extra space of the deeper unit. The door ice and water dispenser works well, but it does take up a lot of space inside. I think we did prefer having the icemaker in the freezer below, as was in our older unit. Overall, we accept the trade offs and are happy with our selection.

We got this about a month ago, I do love the counter depth, it looks very sleek. Glasses with a narrow opening are pretty much impossible to fill with ice without ending up with a fair bit of ice on the floor. The ice compartment is very small, once you fill a few glasses it's pretty much empty. It is much noisier (not all the time, on and off ) than our last fridge, not really sure if there is something wrong or if that\s normal. It's not very big inside but that size is our max. for a counter depth, glad we have a 2nd garage fridge for extra storage.

Came with the new house we purchased. It was a replacement for a Frigidaire that had the ice maker issues. Not a very good swap, this has small storage capacity especially in the freezer. Have to open both doors to open the large drawer.

This refrigerator has a very creative storage system in it which accomodates whatever you've got. I really like the Deli section. The plastic doesn't seem very sturdy in this refrigerator so I will treat it gently.
