I am happy with my purchase. If I could I would change the location of the induction burners so that the large one would be one of the burners in one of the corners rather than in the middle. This would work better for me.

I™™ve cooked gas and electric but induction is the way to go! This is my second induction cooktop due to moving. I would give it a 5 but the temperature slides are more difficult to use than on my previous Frigidaire induction cooktop. Also I liked the arrangement of the burners on my previous model. That being said, I love my induction cooktop.

I have been using my induction cook top for 3 weeks. I am pleasantly surprised that is does heat faster, cooks quicker and easy to clean. The power boil feature works perfectly. It is not convenient to cook multiple pots of various sizes at once. Only 1 burner for large or medium to large pots. The empty space behind the right burner seems perfect for another burner, especially a medium sized pot burner. The need to buy different pots is inconvenient.

I renovated my kitchen and made the switch from Natural Gas Cooktop to Induction cooktop, Im glad I did! It heats faster the Natural gas and the cooktop is so easy to clean, No more metal grids to clean.

My wife has been wanting an induction cooktop for years. We remodeled the kitchen and bought this Frigidaire 30™ cooktop which was highly rated (and a Best Buy) in a leading consumer magazine. She absolutely loves it! It can have water boiling in barely over a minute. And it can hold both low temps and high temps perfectly. Cleanups are a breeze with this all ceramic glass surface. Her only regret about this cooktop... is that she didn™™t buy it years ago!

Induction heat is so much better than radiant heat. It is faster to heat and cool. So much safer than my old countertop burners. Clean up is simple and spills do not burn on the surface.

My kitchen got damaged in a fire, and I replaced my old gas cooktop with this new induction cooktop. I couldn™™t be happier. It™™s so much better than my old gas cooktop for a number of reasons. One reason is that it is much more stable being flat. Another virtue is that it cooks things more safely because the top doesn™™t get hot. An additional benefit is that it boils water very quickly because it has a special setting to do that.

I am enjoying my new induction cooktop. My only criticism is the location of the burners. If I need to boil pasta in a large pot and also cook in my large pam at the same time it is difficult with the way the burners are situated.

I recently bought my second induction cooktop, being a little disappointed that my first Professional lasted 10 years. I was satisfied with my previous Professional and bought another Frigidaire Induction a month ago and thought I again would be even happier with a newer model. Unfortunately the middle burner did not cook evenly, as seen in video and photos and returned it. I decided to buy a regular electric cooktop after spending over .300$ in removing and new installation. Unfortunately I couldn™™t pull up the video. I could never make a perfect roux with this cooktop.

Replaced a Viking induction with this Frigidaire induction and it is much better. It has much more responsive touch control. It also has auto sizing , and looks as great as it functions. We bought it as the virus lockdown began and my wife and I have cooked every meal on it since. It makes cooking a breeze & a joy. We love it. We would never go back to any other cooking type.

We've had this cooktop for a few weeks and I have nothing bad to say about it. Boils water really fast, temp control is more precise than radiant electric, and the burners definitely cool off quickly once the pan is removed. I read a couple reviews prior to purchasing that said it is noisy. There is a slight hum when it's on higher power, but nothing I would quantify as noisy. Overall I am extremely pleased, even though I had to ditch my old aluminum cookware.

I've been using this cooktop for about 2 weeks. It's amazing how fast the burners heat up. I'm glad a friend really encouraged me to get an induction cooktop. This one happened to be the least expensive of the ones I was considering and I think it will be just fine.

Our family has been using this induction cooktop for 4 weeks. It replaced a Whirlpool electric-coil cooktop that was at least 30 years old. Installation went smoothly. This cooktop fit perfectly into the current countertop opening. The original 220v electric source for the old cooktop made the transition easy. I was concerned about the potentially higher utility bill from using an induction cooktop, especially with the greater use during Shelter-In-Place restrictions from the Coronavirus pandemic. I am surprised to report that our electric bill has not increased from using the cooktop. It appears to be more energy-efficient that the old coil cooktop. The new cooktop is visually appealing, and very easy to clean. When I researched induction cooktops I chose this one because of it's price, value, and the reputation of Frigidaire. I am wary of unfamiliarly-branded products that may have questionable quality and reliability. You don't want to spend money on a cheaper product just to save a little money, especially when dealing with high-voltage appliances and safety of your family. I am happy with my new cooktop and look forward getting many years of service out of it.

Simple touch controls. Very intuitive. Full power on any burner heats very quickly. Quick, precise control at lower power settings. Easy clean with a damp towel. We are completely pleased with this product.

Took a little to get use to the settings but now it's great way to cook. Stove top doesn't get so hot that spills cook to the surface. Wish we would have known about and got one of these Stove Top before (or at least when they first came out!). We love it !

We bought this cooktop a couple months ago and we're very happy with it. The temperature reacts much more quickly than the standard cooktop we replaced. It has trained us very well to not set anything on the controls :) We have not had the noise issues other reviewers mentioned.

I knew from my research that this stove would cook fast, but I™™m still blown away at how quickly it boils water and seers meat. The first time I made Mac™™n Cheese blew my mind. I put the water on power boil, and by the time I got the box of noodles, milk & butter the water was already boiling. There was literally zero waiting!The other thing I love that I wasn™™t expecting is how easy it is to control the heat. From simmering to power boiling and everything in between after using it a few times you™™ll figure out what settings work best for your favorite recipes and then you™™re all set. I cook on this stove at least twice a day and it makes me smile every time.

This is our first ever induction device and it is so worth it. Granted, we had to buy new pots and pans, but it was well worth it. The speed to boil a pot of water is about a minute and a half (compared to close to 5 minutes with our old cook top). Very happy with the product.

Our new 30" Frigidaire Induction Cooktop was installed about a month and so far it's been great. Water boils very fast and it is very responsive when turning the temp up or down. At the lower end of the temp it keeps food warm at a very low temp. Compared to my old electric cooktop, the induction cooktop is a dream.

We have been using it for about 2 months now. If you get the right cookware you™™ll fall in love in the first use. The reason why I gave it 4 starts is because the layout of the burners is not ideal and sometimes is difficult to cook using all 4 burners depending on the shape of your pots.

I had been doing some cooking on a portable Duxtop counter top induction unit and as a result decided to replace my 28yr old thermal/glass cooktop with an induction unit. My selection of this Fridigaire was based on its high rating in Consumers Report relative to its attractive price. My only hesitation on buying an induction cooktop is the reliability due to all the power electronics. Only time will tell on this.The unit easily dropped in as a direct replacement to my existing 30" cooktop. The only issue is the armored sheath for the power lines was 1/4" larger in diameter than the prior unit, so I had to increase a cutout on one drawer. This unit has a 1/4" step on the edge while my prior unit was flush with a metal rim. This clean glass transition does not catch debris making it easier to clean; not to mention the lack of knobs which also require constant cleaning.The unit fully functions as advertised and it is a big step up from my prior thermal cooktop; better than gas in my opinion. It's 7" cooking "zone" will bring 1 cup of water to boil in 45sec using the "power boil" setting. The power levels are well spaced. The higher power settings are more than adequate.The Duxtop used a single button to raise or lower the power setting... one press increasing or lowering the level by 1 unit. This Fridigaire has a "slider" which is a sequence of "spots" which select the different power levels. I was concerned how I would adapt to this, but it works well. I quickly got used to knowing where to touch the slider for a given setting. The unit is quieter (virtually noiseless) than what I was expecting (e.g. noise from the fan or the induction coils); a pleasant surprise based on my experience with the Duxtop.The only negative (If possible I would give it 4.5 stars) is the unit has an automatic warning system if it senses a "key" pressed or the surface is touched in some odd fashion; or an object is placed down on the surface. This is for safety with children and pets. When this occurs it will beep 5 times and if not rectified, the unit will shut down for a short period. I still can't quite figure out just what sequences of "touching" "what" part of the cooktop makes this kick in, but I set off this warning off whenever I clean it. This occurs even if I lock the cooktop with the lock function. It even occurred one time while I was moving some pans around while cooking. The documentation is very weak on this functionality (maybe I am missing something on this). A separate key to temporarily disable this feature would be a nice addition.The unit meets or exceeds all my expectations and I would make the same purchase again.

I Installed this 4 months ago and it had been great. I really like the power boil mode, once I start that I have bubbles forming within 15 seconds. even after cooking a meal, if I put my hand on the "burner" it is hot, but doesn't instantly burn me. it does make a buzzing sound while cooking but well worth it. food that is cooking needs to be stirred or moved more regularly so it doesn't stick

I was hesitant to try induction cooking but I am so glad I took the plunge. The learning curve from electric coil cooktop was minimal. In my mind the numbers on this cooktop relate to low, medium and high and the increments between. This cooktop is beautiful and I chose it over others because of the controls. Easy to understand and operate. I was concerned about the white circles, but unless you have the light on over the stove they are not noticeable. The cleaner that came with it is wonderful and helps it beautiful and spot free. I would recommend this to anyone.

We got our new cooktop about a month ago and it is fantastic! The power boil feature will boil a liter of water in 90 seconds, that™™s about a minute faster than our electric kettle. We also enjoy the Almost instant heat changes when the power is increased or decreased. Controls are simple and intuitive a s clean-up has been a breeze.

Purchased about a month ago at our sons urging. Heats much quicker and cleans easier than my previous glass cook top. We had about 35 people here last week for Thanksgiving and suddenly the cook top quit functioning. Our son was here so he unplugged it and plugged it back in and it was OK. He said if this happened again I should turn the breaker off and back on. Hope it doesn't happen again.

I™™ve only used our new Frigidaire induction cooktop for about month. I™™ve owned several others in various price categories. I move a lot. This one is used in a second home, so the lower price point mattered in the decision to purchase. I also was strongly influenced by the element arrangement and size. In any price point, it™™s the most sensible array offering options for many pot or pan sizes. The controls are intuitive and responsive. I dropped my rating by one star because the largest element requires a large pan or pot and the smaller elements are often too small for a medium size pan. I™™ve found my way around it, but mid size pans should be considered. I really like induction cooking for its speed, high heat and gas-like immediate response.
